Glasgow's Belle and Sebastian live at the Gasometer, Vienna (on the night before the half marathon). Brilliant show.

Vienna Half Marathon

Ran a 01:38:24. Should have been a 01:34:00. Knee problems at 19km. Not enough training and a gig the night previous - Belle and Sebastian. Great race tho!

Service is our success

50's Wonder Woman-esque figure and the statement 'Service is our success' engraved on to the belt buckle of my Austrian Airlines flight from Vienna to Bruxelles.

Classical dressage of the Spanische Hofreitschule (Spanish Court Riding-School of Vienna) and it's Lipizzan horses. No photo policy in the main hall. Covert, jaunty angled souvineer shot snapped from the hip.

Check out the sign for the Nacht Straßenbahn.  The 'R' and tram icon is used for the vintage Ring Tram which runs around the historic city center on lines 1 and 2.
