Carrom
Nobody told me about this... it is the best board game ever. Carrom. Spotted these kids playing it at a tea house on my walk down a mountain near Nagarkot, Nepal.
My board is a smaller version of the one's the kids were playing on as was necessary to get it home as cabin baggage.
Was a task to find a board in Kathmandu on a Saturday. After a few sketches of boards and many striking/flicking mimes I was directed to this 'sports' shop. The place was falling down with boards.

Biking in Fili
Saturday morning off-road trials along the Oman boarder fence near Fili. Close to Madam (UAE).
Empty road approach to Madam. Approx 5am.
Mountain biking in Fili. High humidity, dusty desert wind, temperature hovering around 40degrees and sweat. Sand coated post-ride legs.

Madam (UAE)
Commercial property for rent in Madam. Main strip. Standalone.
Music store.
Patriotic advertising of... nothing?
I don't actually own a camel, but picked up some braided lead ropes and woven collars.
Rim shops seem to be a standard in desert trading towns and villages.
Buckets of camel feed. Resisted purchase in this section.
