Olive oil tins

Plants for sale in old olive oil cans on the road from Amman to Jerash.

The '505'

Rauf, here it is. Heavy duty hardware. Picked it up in Beirut last year.

Shmeisani

"Never pay more than 2JD for any journey in Amman." Fair enough advice, provided your know to first ask your cab driver to reset the meter before putting his foot on the gas.

Glaces du maison

Rain making

Clouds hanging over Dubai marina. Are these due to the skyscrapers?

Sci-fi beach life

Whilst shooting the starfish for the Monster exhibition I found these barnacles drying out on a fence post. With the rust red colouring and organic form they have a 'life on Mars' look about them.

Umm al Qaywayn 01

If you've never been to India, but fancy a taster of what it's like - visit Umm al Qaywayn. Seems to be a big Bollywood film audience judging by all the movie posters pasted on wwalls around town.

Monster

Ed Docherty invited me to submit a piece of art work to a show he was curating in Cologne. Theme: Create your own monster. I went marco on some Astropecten Sea Stars found on the public beach beside the Burj Al Arab.

The cliche

Cows beside a red door way in Agra, India.Took a trip to India at the end of January. Way too much to take in. Flew into Delhi, took a train to Agra and the Taj Mahal, then over to Jaipur for a few days. This picture was taken in a side street in Agra. Rajwant in work thought it a cliche. Maybe so, but check out that texture.
